Fri 6 May Memorial; service for John Scott at St. Paul’s Cathedral

Sat 14 May at 7.30: Opening recital of the restored Halmshaw organ at Upton Bishop by Dr Roy Massey MBE, FRCO with Juliet Thompson cello. The programme will have music by our late President Dr John Sanders and will include his toccata. John went to Upton Bishop after he retired from Gloucester Cathedral.

GLOUCESTER CATHEDRAL

A series of evening organ recitals has been arranged at Gloucester Cathedral to mark the 350th anniversary of the building of the organ case. The recitalists will be past and present Gloucester Cathedral organists and they will be playing the Chorale Fantasia by Max Reger. See the Diary. The name of each piece is given on the Cathedral web-site and on the GOA web-site.
