Thursday May 16th – 7.30 p.m. Visit to the refurbished Milton organ in Tewkesbury Abbey.

Carleton Etherington met us at the north door and gave a magnificent and exciting musical tour of the organ, recently refurbished, revoiced and the console upgraded by Nicholson. There were about 20 members present including two of our Student Organists. Everyone had an enjoyable play. Music included Mendelssohn War March of the Priests, Parry Prelude, Bach Prelude and Fugue in a minor and a transcription of an Improvisation by Vierne..
